A. Where state law permits, provide your employee written designation of your designated medical providers and require your employee to choose one and obtain treatment. Or take the employee to the emergency room if the injury threatens life or limb. Interview the injured worker as soon as possible after the injury is stabilized. Transmit the claim information to your insurer or third party administrator. Follow up with the injured worker to implement a return to work and to maintain a positive employer/employee relationship.
